It is believed that Iran has enriched uranium to 84%, just shy of the level needed for a nuclear weapon. Additionally, the IAEA reports that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile over 18 times limit of 2015 deal.
Experts do not believe that Iran has yet mastered the technology to actually build a bomb. The new figure was discovered by monitoring equipment operated by the world’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). But the Bloomberg report did not reveal how much uranium enriched to this extent Iran has produced. The amount needed for a nuclear bomb is about a grapefruit-sized worth, which would weigh around 33 pounds.
